TREDC Adopts New Donation Policy to Better Support Community Giving

TREDC is committed to being a responsible corporate neighbor and supporting organizations and initiatives that create a positive impact in the Tule River community. To help ensure charitable contributions are distributed fairly and consistently, the TREDC Board of Directors recently approved a new Donation Policy.

The policy establishes guidelines for monetary donations, in-kind contributions, sponsorships, and other community support. Preference will be given to requests that benefit Tribal Members and Descendants and align with TREDC’s mission, values, and community-impact goals.

“Through this structured approach, TREDC looks forward to continuing to support organizations and activities that make a meaningful difference in the lives of our Tribal Members and the Porterville community,” said TREDC CEO Thomas E. Wilbur.

Organizations requesting support are asked to submit a request at least 30 days in advance and provide information about their organization, the purpose of the request, how the donation will be used, current contact information, and a completed W-9. Requests will be reviewed by TREDC’s Donation Committee, and awards will be based on mission alignment, community impact, financial transparency, and available funding.
