Message from the CEO
Greetings,
As we moved into spring, Tule River Economic Development Corporation (TREDC) has continued building momentum as we grow and strengthen our businesses for the benefit of the tribal community. Together, the Board and I have been working closely to strengthen our policies and refine strategic priorities that support long-term growth and opportunity for the Tule River tribal community.
Recently, members of TREDC attended the Reservation Economic Summit (RES) Conference, the largest Native American business and economic development conference in the United States. It was a valuable and productive experience where the Board and our team connected with key partners, explored new opportunities, and represented TREDC in important conversations that support economic growth. These efforts are critical as we continue advancing our business development strategies, including building our presence within the SBA 8(a) program.
As we grow our businesses, we also remain focused on supporting important priorities at home. On April 9, 2026, several Board members and I met with the Tule River Indian Housing Authority to discuss the ongoing HUD PRICE Grant program supporting manufactured housing on the Res. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to improving housing and strengthening the well-being of our tribal community.
I appreciate the Board’s leadership and dedication, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work together as we continue creating meaningful opportunities for the Tule River community.
Sincerely,
Thomas W. Wilbur
